''paid in full''

I am paying off a judgement. If I write ''paid in full'' on my check and it is cashed, will the judgement be considered to have been fufilled completely? Am I released legally?

Generally speaking, including such language does not constitute an accord and satisfaction unless there existed a good faith dispute as to whether the full amount was legallly owing.
