is it better to pay off credit card collectors with a settlement or just leave alone now since its been over 2 yrs? credit report still shows card that were settles with collectors as a charge off???
what is the best for repairing credit?

That's not really a legal question, but I can tell you that they have four years from the last charge or payment, whichever is later, to sue you for the debt. Being sued for the debt is DEFINITELY worse than a settlement.
