Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

placing a lien on tenant property

I am the landlord in an unlawful detainer case which the tenant is fighting and causing the case to be delayed in court. By the time it is all over, I will have lost 4-6 months rent at $2000 per month. The tenant is self-employed so there is no way I garnish wages. Once I receive a judgment from the court, can I put a lien on his car? And, if so, how do I do so? What other recourse is available to me?
