Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Post bancruptsy debt

I went bankript after divorcing 5 yrs ago (chapter 7).During some disasterous health problems I aquired more debt. I've been put on SSI disability due to my health. I can't pay my bills, I'm 3 weeks away from being homeless. What would happen if I simply ignored my bills & didn't pay them until the time comes that I have the $ to do so? I have no property or assets. Would I be in some kind of big trouble like with the law or anything else unavoidable for now?

Re: Post bancruptsy debt

you would not be in trouble with the law but when you later paid it back you would owe interest. You might also consider a bankruptcy to get a new start.
