Property liens

Is a property lien a good choice to collect a personal debt? Can this be used by a private indicidual?? Bill collector

will not make a difference to this person but they do have property which

incidentally they want to refinance. Does a lien influence a refinance??

Yes, an individual can file a lien against real property to collect a debt. However, you must either have a judgement or a writ of attachment to file such a lien.
