Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

i recieved an entry of default request. A creditor is suing me. This is the first I have heard of the lawsuit. I checked it out and there is a court case pending. What can I do?

If you were not served with the Summons and Complaint, you can file a request to dismiss the default judgment with the appropriate court. If granted, the creditor will need to serve you with the proper documentation and allow you time to answer.
