Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Removing Bankruptcies from Credit Reports

I filed Ch. 7 bankruptcy in Nov '94 and it was discharged without contest in Mar '95. It still shows up on my credit reports from all the ''top 3'' agencies. What is the specific mechanism for getting it removed? Does the court notify the agencies or do I, and can I insist that they remove that info as it's been over 7 yrs, or do I have to wait for 10 yrs?
