Rental Car

If you dont return a rental car on time and its about a month over due then u finally return it after u relize that the local law enforcement came to your house trying to recover the vehicle can the rental car company still file charges against u for embezzleing a vehicle.

You embezzled it. Actually, they could sue you for trespass to chattels. That is what you did - you trespassed to their property. They are entitled to money from you for that.
