Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
repo laws
If I have a loan with a company for an automobile, and my monthly payments are current, but I have outstanding late fees, can the company still repo my vehicle? I am in California and the company is in Indiana.

Re: repo laws
You must read your loan agreement carefully. It defines the rights and duties of your relationship. I am sure it provides something about this issue.

Read your loan agreement. It defines your relationship with your lender. It certainly provides for whether late fees can be the basis for a repossession. If not, it still may.
