Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Should I report this incident to the Sheriffs dept?

Two court servers just showed up at my home at about 11:00am June 15th trying to serve my wife who was not here and staying with her sister although her sister does live here in Lakeside. I told the one guy I did not want to be involved in a serving and to please leave. He refused and both the guys sat parked in my driveway. I was not able to leave until my neighbor starts to come over and I jump on the phone while trying to write down the license# i didn't get it, then they left. They were yelling obscenities we did get into it verbally. I work out of my home and don't like this.

thanks in advance,

WJ

If they blocked your driveway you could possibly sue for false imprisonment. Meanwhile you need to address problem #1, which is responding to the lawsuit.

You don't get a choice about being involved with service of process on your wife at your home even if you work at home. Don't be foolish, the process server did not create the problem....they are the messenger. If you are upset at this point, get ready 'cause you are going to hate what's in store for you/your wife.

Michael is absolutely correct..BUT..job #1 is demur or motion to strike???? Before the answer.
