Reposession

Want to have a vehicle reposessed. It is in Calif. licensed in Calif with two names on the title. She will not sign off. She has the vehicle. The loan is in his name. He makes the payments, she has not paid anything. Can we legally repo since the loan is in his name.

You can legally repossess only if you have a contract with the registered owner who owes you money saying you can. You would still need to be the title owner (the holder of the pink slip). If you are not the title owner, you have to file a lawsuit in order to obtain possession of the vehicle.
