Repossesion of a vehicle

How long after you are in default of payment can the bank repossess your car.

Thanks for your question. The answer to it truly depends on what it says in the contract, as well as what the policies of the lender state.

In general, they will begin to call you after 30 days, and may start collections procedures after 60 to 90 days.
