repossession of vehicle

i had a car repossessed in 1997 or 1998. there is a judgement against me filed in 2001. will judgement ever expire?

To make the judgment expire, you can file bankruptcy or pay it off.

Judgments are good for an initial period of 10 years, but they are also renewable.
