Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Required to ''pay-in-full'' on a debt that I have been paying monthly payments o

I have been contacted by representatives of a college that I no longer attend. I initially received a bill for a total of $400.00 dollars to be ''paid-in-full''. I was unable to make the full payment, and without notifying the college of this I sending in $50.00 dollar payments on a monthly basis. None of the payments were late and all payments were cashed.

Threats of ''ruining my credit'' have been voiced and a 3- day deadline has now been given to me. Must this be paid now as the college states or...?

Thank You.

Call them and talk to them. They will probably agree to a payment plan, but you cant just send them money and expect them to know your intentions.
