Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
When responding to an 'admissions request' i.e I deny or admit - from a debt collection agency (gen denial previously filed) are there special or required forms that have to be used or can I just respond by typing out the admissions/denial on regular paper? Thanks!

They should be submitted on pleading paper which is either paper or a word processing format that places numbered lines on the left edge of the page. The first page must have the party preparing the document with address and phone number in the upper left corner, followed by the court name centered, followed by the case caption to the left and the title of the document to the right. The full set of requirements for papers used in litigation is set out in Rules 2.100-2.119 of the California Rules of Court. https://www.courts.ca.gov/cms/rules/index.cfm?title=two
