scope of court order to set aside a default judgement

in a Breach of Contract a motion was granted to set aside the default and default judgement. The proposed order included the proposed answer of defendant. What is the next move based on this granting by the court?

Re: scope of court order to set aside a default judgement

Normally, the case will proceed as if the default had never occured. You are free to initiate discovery, take depositions, engage in settlement discussions and otherwise prepare for trial.

The court will probably schedule a Case Management Conference in the near future and you may be assigned a trial date and other deadline. If you need representation, my fees are very reasonable and you may contact me at my office.
