Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I'm not sure if i'm selecting the right law area...

the finance company are trying to get me to pay them for insurance when the truck as of 03/08/10 covered with insurance and yet i just received a letter in the mail saying that i still have a past due payment, but i sent in the truck payment weeks ago and now i'm assuming that they want me to pay them for insurance that only covered the truck it self and coast as much as the truck payment but, the truck is insured now. can they do that? i have a feeling they are going to try to take the truck from me and its going to be paid off the ending of this year. my truck payment is 348 with insurance and 605 without insurance. you be the judge...can they do this? do i need to pay this? p.s could you please get back to me a.s.a.p because i need to call them and settle this matter before they try to repo the truck from me please?

Do not call them or deal with them on the telephone. Deal with them only in writing, certified mail, return receipt requested. Have an attorney in your locality review the situation and suggest a course of action.
