Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I am a senior citizen. My age is 67.

I have a problem with the IRS. My check for social security has been garnished. How can I get free representation to talk to the IRS?..I dont have any funds and I am desperate since that 15% that is taken from my check is to pay for my food.PLEASE HELP!!!!

You need to contact your local legal aid office. The website for the closest office to you is http://www.inlandlegal.org/, and their phone number is (909) 980-0982 or (800) 977-4257. They are located in Rancho Cucamonga. Legal Aid tends to be very, very busy, but if you are persistent, they should be able to help you.
