Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

How Do I Serve A Company Out Of State For Small Claims Action

I want to file a small claims cases against two corporation located outside of California.

In one instance, one Virgina, non-profit corporation has their corporate attorney and member of the board of directors living in Los Angeles - but is not a registed agent of service with the state of California.

In the other instance, the other (Nevada) corporation has its treasurer and a member of the board of directors living in Los Angeles - but he is also is not a register agent of service.

Can I serve both these individuals for these seperate cases as representatives of their out-of-state companies?

Please advise and thanks!

You can personally serve the board members, or the treasurer, and that should work. The in-house counsel is probably a closer question.
