There is no such thing as "Rule 3.740 Papers." What you have been served with is a debt collection lawsuit for an amount under $25,000.00. Your options are to pay the debt now, defend yourself and then pay it later with interest and possibly attorneys fees added since people who defend themselves without an attorney's help in collections cases invariably lose, or if you really think you don't owe the money, hire an attorney to defend you.
