Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
I co signed on a vehicle and the person I signed with defaulted on the loan...they called the lender and had the car repo-ed. I know I will have to pay the loan to the lender but can I sue the person I signed with? I never made a payment or drove the vehicle.

Suing broke people is a waste of time, but if you have nothing better to do, go for it. Maybe they will come into some money someday and you will have a paper judgment. I hope you learned something from your co-signing experience.
