Small claims collections
We have a small business,we sold a vehicle on contract,the person we sold it to would not make the payments,so we tryed to repo it ,she kept it hid out so we took her to small claims court, the judge voided the contract but granted us judgement, so now we move on to collecting the judgement,im sure her pay check just keeps her from payday to payday,i havent check out yet to see if she has real estate but, was wondering if it would be better to try to
put a lein against any tax refunds, could you please tell me how to go about doing this.Thank you for your time

I'm not sure that you can get a lien on her tax refunds, but you should start by recording the "abstract of judgment" form in the county where she lives and do a simple search to see if she has any assets. If you don't find any, you're still entitled to garnish her wages up to a certain amount, depending on her income.
