Small Claims

I co-signed for my now ex-boyfriend a few years ago, he was to stay in the military & have direct payments for the truck. We broke up, he didn't stay in, he stopped paying the note & got the truck repoed. I ended up having to pay the remaining balance after he sent me messages saying he was responsible so he would pay it.

Do i have a case to take him to small claims court to get the $4420 back that he said he would pay??

Probably. The question will be, where was the truck while he was in the military? Did you use it, insure it, etc.? The weaker the connection between you and the truck, the stronger case you should have.
