Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Social Security * What Gives?

I work for a payday advance and My boss says there is nothing we can do to collect on ssi recipients who end up delinquent on loans approved to them , I understand there is no wage garneshment or anything of that nature we can do

to collect, and even if given a judgment in small claims, still nothing we can do to recover monies lost.''Is Social Security a legal license to steal?''meaning-make debts that by law they don't have to repay? What gives? There are so many that go delinquent, this is rediculous to hard working people that do their job trying to help people(on ssi)and give them money untill their check arrives and they turn around and screw us, my boss thinks i automatically gave out a high risk bad loan when i process and qualify ssi income persons. They are getting a really bad reputation in my book. Do you have any help with alternative resolution suggestions?*ie,Do Not accept S.S.I? what options are available? *thankyou for your time*

Oh, yeah, my heart bleeds for you &+@&! payday loan vultures. Whaddayou charge, a jillion percent interest a week. At least (I hope) you don't break legs like those low-interest lenders (loansharks). Anyway, 1) it's illegal to discriminate against SSI recipients if they are otherwise creditworthy; and 2) your company has high-priced lawyers to answer questions like these. May you all rot in hell.
