Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I am a Software Professional. I work on Corp-to-Corp basis. Recently i was working for a vendor in LA and due to some problem i had to leave that project in a Week notice. Now the vendor is Holding my two months Payment and Since i did not give Sufficient Notice before Leaving he is not going to pay me this Amount. Legally is it possible to Collect my Money from Vendor. If possible Can some one tell me the Process

Thanks a lot for Info

Regards,

Naggens
