Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

In the state of California, can a third party auto repossession company knock at your door daily between the hours of 4:00am and 6:00am, even if the vehicle is not onsite? If so, can they also lie about who they are and inform other people (not the car owner) that they need the car owner for a wittness for the car owner's father?

No. You an sue them for unfair debt collection practices. Take pictures and videos, keep a log book and get license plate or RA numbers (painted on tow trucks). Watch out for legal time limits. I would like to hear from you.
