statue of limitations on debt collection

What is the statue of limitations on a debt collection issue in the state of california, and in the state of Washington. Neither of these debts are oral, written, promisary, or open-ended accounts, (that I know of) Some of them are overdue medical, and some are traffic fines

Re: statue of limitations on debt collection

For California, the statute of limitations is generally 2 years on an oral contract from the date of the breach and 4 years on a written contract. Have you received any letters from a collection agency? Please call us if you have any questions.
