staute of limitations is 4 years
Re: statue of limitations
The statute of limitations for breach of contract is 4 years from the date of the breach. If the statute of limitations has passed, you may have a cause of action against the collection agency for violation of the fair debt collection act and maybe the fair credit reporting act. If you fax any documentation you have to 714 363 0229, I will provide you with free consultation. Our firm handles cases throughout California.
Re: statue of limitations
There is a 4 year statute of limitations on written contracts.
Have they actually filed a court action against you? If they have, and you win, you could possibly sue them afterward for abuse of process.
