what is the statue of limitations on taking a person to small claims court? on a collection debt. A dentist is taking me to small claims on money he says I owe him iy has been over 13 months

For breach of a written, the statue is 4 years. For breach of a verbal contract, the statute is 2 years. Either way, it sounds like the dentist filed the claim on time.
