statute of limitaions of renewal of judgement

can a debt collection agency re-open a debt that was 10 years ago? We had a lein put on our bank account in Feburary of 05 without any notice of anykind, until the money was taken out and the bank notified us.

Legal court documents were sent after:(Application for and renewel of judgment). The date of the original judgment was: 5/24/95. The date of the proof of servive by mail was:4/26/05. Can these people do this?

Yes, they can renew the judgement for another 10 years, as long as they do so before the first 10 years expire.
