Statute of limitations on medical debts

I have a lot of ''old'' medical debt from several years ago. Is there a statute of limitations on medical debts?

The Statute of Limitations is either 2 or 4 years. We will have to review your correspondence. You may have a case against collection agencies under the Fair Debt Collecton Act.
