Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

How do I stop a creditor from harassing me, threatening me? I have written them, called them, to stop and they don't.

I have told them that I can pay a small amount each month but they want the full amount. NOW.

They are threatening to come to my work.

You should contact a consumer rights attorney familiar with the California Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (RFDCPA) to discuss the specifics of your situation. Any attorney with experience in this area should be able to enforce your rights, which may include filing a lawsuit to stop the harassment. Our firm practices in this area and would be more than happy to hear from you.
