Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
I'm being sued by a old b of a credit card. I stop making payments abour 5 years ago. When I replyed to them with answer to complaint form, stating that there was a statute of limitations violations. They are now saying that answer was basically not goog enough. They are now asking a series of questions, like is it true you opened an account with this plantiff? Should I get an attorney too? Are they trying to scare me? What are my rights?

I do not know what you mean when you say your answer was not good enough. Do you mean that they think it is defective and should be thrown out of court? Or that they simply don't believe you.
If it's the latter, that's completely normal.
If you feel overwhelmed by the litigation process, then you should definitely consult with a lawyer.
