Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
Ive been sued by a collection agency for a credit card debt with Chase Bank. I would like to respond to the complaint and file that response (By tomorrow 11.28.11). What forms are required to make such filings in California Superior Court? Is there a step by step process that anyone has in regards to this situation? Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You have one day left to respond, and this is the fist time you've sought legal help? Call the attorney and ask for a two week extension of time to respond. Follow up with a letter (This will confirm my conversation with so-and-so of your office on November 28th, 2011 in which your office granted me a two week extension of time.) Say nothing else to the person you speak to. Do not fill out any forms or file anything with the court until you have consulted an attorney who has reviewed the papers you received.
