If I am sued by a Credit Card company and they mistype the account number in the complaint, can I deny the lawsuit entirely?

If you're being sued by anybody for any reason, 1) run it by a lawyer; and 2) if you have a defense to the lawsuit, make sure it gets answered within 30 days. No, mistyping the account number in the complaint won't get you there, but it might be the start of a good strategy. Remember if you win a lawsuit filed by a credit card company (or a collection agency on their behalf) and you hired an attorney (and ONLY if you hired an attorney) they pay the attorney fees.
