Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
I am being sued by a credit card company and I have no way of paying the debt on my Social Security amount what will they do? Will I go to jail. The amount is$3000.00.

No, you will not go to jail!
If your only income is from Social Security, the creditor cannot garnish your income, even if they have a judgment. You are what we call "Judgment Proof".
