Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Being Sued by Finance Company

I am being sued by my finance company which I have a secured loan for the purchase of my car. The finance company has contacted everyone that I know threatening that I am X amount in debt and that I am going to be arrested because my debt. The finance company has also contacted my employers to which I freelance for. Since their contact all work assignments has stopped. They have contacted my landlord. They have sent deceptive information requests to my friends and family and former employers. Has the finance company broken ''Breach of Peace''? What are my rights? Are there any free resources out there? I am unemployed, and have no money.

Contact the local Legal Aid Society, or find a young attorney, through your local bar association, who might be willing to take your case on a purely contingent fee basis. You must Sue The Bastards!!! They are intentionally trying to make your life a hell. They are guilty of the tort of intentional infliction of emotional distress, and other tortious causes of action.

Good luck!
