I was sued for a hospital bill. They won and now have put a lien on my home. Can they force me to sell and move out ?

No, they cannot force a sale of the home based on a judgment lien.

Mr. Jordan is simply wrong. If there is enough equity in your house to satisfy all mortgages and any other liens that attached before the judgment lien, AND enough equity to pay you your homestead exemption, AND pay all or a meaningful part of the judgment lien, they can obtain a writ of execution from the court that will order the sheriff to sell the property at auction. For most people who can't pay their debts, there isn't enough equity in the home to cover mortgages plus the homestead exemption, but if there is, the house could be sold.
