My daughter got in over her head with credit card debts. She went into consolidation with a company, She is currently paying them $350 a month and has been for the past three months.. Does this protect her from being sued.?

Re: summon and complaint from credit card company

Almost certainly not. What most of these consolidation companies do, as I understand it, is counsel your daughter not to pay her creditors, rather, to pay them. After she has gone deep into default with her creditors, they go in and attempt to negotiate a reduced payoff of her debts. While she is paying the consolidation firm, my understanding is that no payment is being made to her creditors, so they are very likely to sue her at some point. Get the details from the consolidation firm - are they paying her creditors or not - that's really the question. I've not heard good things when it comes to consolidation firms - few people are happy when its over because it destroyed their credit.
