summons and complant from credit card company

mY daughter had gotten in over her head with credit card debit. she then went into consoladation with a company. Does this not protect her from being sued? What can she do., She is paying this company $350 per month to take care of her outstanding credit card debts

If she's being sued, then the debt consolidation company probably is NOT doing what she hired them to do -- make arrangements with the companies for repayment of the debt, perhaps by lowering the interest rates.

I would imagine that the debt consolidation company is out of state, which will make it more difficult to pursue them. Has she received a breakdown of payments they have made?
