if you are terminated from a job how long does the employer have to pay your remaining income in the state of California

I'm sorry you lost your job.

If you are terminated, your former employer must pay your remaining wages and accrued vacation time -immediately-, and they owe you a day's pay for each day it's late, for up to 30 days. You have the option of either filing a claim with the Labor Commissioner, or use a private lawyer and sue (you would also recover your lawyer's fees).
