You have already asked this question and have received an answer. Under the UCC a loan is only discharged by payment, or if the party entitled to receive payment voluntarily discharges the debt by waiving all or part of the payment due. There is no UCC provision for a loan to be discharged any other way, and neither of those have anything to do with time. All the other provisions regarding discharge deal with loans that have been sold, assigned or transferred, or that have guarantors, and what happens when payment is made to various parties in various circumstances. Again, nothing to do with time.
