unable to get information about the lawsuit against me

i am being sued for a car loan i co signed for and i didnt know that it went repo now i am the only having my wages garnish . the other signer is not being sued because they bought the loan and said she was not on the loan i have gave the attoney of the law firm that is sueing the info on her 3 months ago and they said they will look into it but nothing has happend and i have called the law firm to get the info on this case and faxed asking for all the information on this case for about 4 months and they will not send any info to me so i dont have any paper showing that how much i owe and who the money is going to they are garnishing my check for 667 dollars a month any info will help

Most courthouses have computer systems that you can use to find case information. Your employer should have sent you a document that the sheriff provided to it regarding the wage attachment. That would contain the name of the case, the case number, and the court in which it was filed. Then you can go to the courthouse and look at the file. You might talk to an attorney in your area about debt relief/bankruptcy, or at least help you work out a different payment plan.
