Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

unlicensed online payday loans

I took out some paydays loans, I later found out that they were not licensed in CA, and they tried repeatedly to take out fees from my bank account, How can I get back all the money that the paydays loan companies repeatedly tried to take out of my bank account, which cause me lots of money in NSF that I now owe my bank, when they were unlicensed in CA an therefore should not have given me these loans?

Thanks,

Nicole

Re: unlicensed online payday loans

Nicole,

Im sorry to hear about your experience. The first step in recovering your money would be to initiate legal action against the company. If you are sure they inappropriately operated in CA, I would also recommend filing a complaint with the state Attorneys General office.

If you would like to discuss your situation and options, feel free to contact me via phone or email.

Yours truly,
