VA disability

Can a veteran-100% service

connected/unemployable have their

checks garnished by Dept of Ed for

student loans from over 20 years

ago? What about banks or credit

card companies?

Your VA disability should be safe from court judgments such as from banks and credit card companies, but the student loan people will hound you into the grave.

However, they won't go after your heirs.
