I had a wage assignment that was satisifed per the paperwork, but now they say there are more fees... Is this legal?

It really depends on the types of fees they are claiming that you owe. When collecting money owe under a court order or judgment, the recipient is generally entitled to 10% interest plus certain costs like the fee paid to the court to get the writ of execution.

I would demand and accounting and then have it reviewed by an attorney to determine the true amount that you owe, if any.
