How do I block wage attachment?

1. File a Claim of Exemption. You can get the
forms at the office of the court clerk. Essentially,
you'll be asking a judge to reduce the amount taken
from your paycheck because you can't live on the
amount left to you now.
2. File bankruptcy. Unless the judgment against you
is one of the types that are not dischargeable, there
is a good chance you can make the whole judgment go
away.
3. Quit your job. The creditor might find your new job
and do another wage garnishment, but maybe not.
4. Pay the judgment.
