Wage garnishment

My wages have been garnished by LA County for the next 5 years (child support starting in 1999). I had a car repossessed this year and the creditor says I still owe approx $1900 because the re-sale was less than the debt. Can he also garnish my wages?

Mr. Koury is correct, but there is also a limit to how much can be taken out of your check. How much depends on a number of factors.
