if my wife cosigns on a 30yr. mortgage for my daughter, can I be held responsible as the husband and we are married.

You cannot be held responsible in a lawsuit on the loan agreement. However, if a judgment is entered against your wife, then all of your community property is subject to attack in order to pay that judgment.
