Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I won a money judgment in small claims court. I was allowed to represent my company, a corporation.

Will I be allowed to file motions, subpoenas, etc in attempt to collect the judgment? Or will I now need an attorney to sign the paperwork?

Yes; attorneys are not allowed in small claims court proceedings (unless the judgment is appealed). Although now that you have a judgment you will not need to file any motions, you should be able to do whatever is necessary to collect the judgment on behalf of your company.

Attorneys are allowed to represent parties when collecting small claims judgments. However, you are not required to have an attorney. You may want to at least talk to an attorney about the best way to go about collecting your judgment and find out what forms to fill out.
